My favorite season is definitely fall. I love the colors, the temperatures, the apples and pumpkins, and the lattes! If you're a fan of pumpkin spice lattes, here is a great clean eating variation to try at home! It's delicious!!
Ingredients
- 1 cup espresso or very strong coffee
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (I prefer canned. You can use almond milk as well.)
- 4 tablespoons organic pumpkin puree
- 4 tablespoons coconut sugar
- dash of salt
- dash of pumpkin pie spices (nutmeg, cinnamon)
Directions
- Brew coffee and set aside.
- In a blender combine all ingredients and blend well, then add coffee. Mix just a bit.
- Pour over ice or serve hot.
- If using canned coconut milk, separate the thick part and whip it with a mixer for garnish. Sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon and enjoy!
