It's that time of year--the smell of BBQ grills fills the air and the sound of friends and family enjoying time outside is heard often!
Here are tw great ideas to take along to your next picnic or barbecue! These recipes are Phase 2 approved!
BBQ Seasoning
- 1/2 pack stevia
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- dash of cocoa powder
Mix all ingredient together, adjusting any ratios to your taste. Use with chicken or beef, adding about 1/2 way through the cooking process!
Cole Slaw
- 3.5 ounces shredded or chopped cabbage
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2-1 packet stevia
Combine dry seasonings and stevia, then add vinegar. Pour over shredded cabbage and mix well (you may need to add a dash of extra ACV at this point if the dressing isn't thin enough). Refrigerate for 2+ hours before serving!
