One of the challenges I hear from Phase 2 clients often is related to cooking--that cooking within the diet guidelines as well as for the entire family isn't easy. It can be when you choose recipes like the one below! Just multiply the ingredients to fit your need!
This is a dish that my entire family loves!
Beef and Broccoli
Ingredients
- 3.5 ounces of lean steak, cut in strips
- zest of 1/2 orange
- 3 tb apple cider vinegar
- 3 tb Braggs liquid aminos
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 fresh clove, minced
- 1 tb onion powder
- 3.5 ounces broccoli
- Optional: 1 tsp chili paste or Frank's hot sauce
Directions
- In a large pan, cook steak until almost done.
- While this is cooking, steam broccoli.
- Mix all other ingredients (except zest) in a small bowl, then add to steak.
- Stir in broccoli and orange zest and cook until done.
- Enjoy!
