This is a fabulous recipe that I like to call my "fancy dinner" when on Phase 2 (and even Phase 3 and beyond). It is absolutely divine and really hits the spot when you want something different! If you try it let us know what you think!
Ingredients
- 3 ounces lean steak (filet)
- 1 tablespoon yellow or dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, crushed (or powder)
- Dash of Celtic Sea Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients and coat your steak well.
- Let it marinate for 30 minutes in fridge.
- When ready to cook, either broil in a pan in your oven (10 minutes, turning halfway through) or grill.
- I sometimes save a little of the mustard mixture and spread over the steak right before it is done.
