Oh, how I love avocados! I had never eaten one before doing Grace and Strength, and I can say it was love at first bite! I made this dressing a few weeks ago and I have drizzled it over meat and salads--it's great for both! If you've made this before then leave a comment with your favorite variations! This clean eating recipe is for Phase 3 and 4!
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 container plain greek yogurt
- 4-8 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- salt/pepper to taste
- a dash of your favorite herbs
Directions
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend to desired consistency.
- I start with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and add more as needed.
- Some of my favorite herbs are cilantro, basil, or sometimes crushed red peppers!
Serve chilled over your salad or warm up bit and drizzle over cooked meat! Store leftovers in fridge and use within one week.
