If you start each day by aligning your attitude with the Word of God and give place for the Spirit of God to empower you, then you're already ahead of the game. God is already going ahead of you and making a crooked path straight. He's setting up detours that are going to steer you away from temptations, and He's bringing the right people into your life that will speak the right words to you at the right time.
