1. Are you PRETENDING with God?

2. Do you really believe EVERYTHING God says?

3. Do you TRUST God?

4. Do you allow God to LEAD you?

5. Are you getting the RESULTS you are looking for?

As one of the leaders of the Grace and Strength Lifestyle I have the a unique privilege and opportunity to hear from many men and women who share both their life's victories and challenges with me on a consistent basis.

It genuinely hurts my heart when I hear of someone who is struggling in a particular area of their life when I know the WORD has provided them with the answer. So I asked the Lord, "Lord why can they not see your answer for their situation?"

This is what I believe He said to me, "Cyndi, they are PRETENDING they don't know what my Word says.  They have read it and understand it but they have chosen that they really don't want to see or obey that portion of the Bible  just yet."

WOW!! As I ponder this answer I realized how many of us pick and choose what applies to us in the bible.

For instance, the Bible does say that, "Our bodies are not our own, they have been bought with a price" yet we continually mistreat our bodies as if WE do own them. Think about it, after you purchase an item from someone, it now belongs to you. Do you continue to allow the previous owner to decide how you take care of that item and what you do with it? Of course not! It belongs to you. You now own it.

So shouldn't these same privileges apply to God as owner of our bodies?  Let's honor God with our bodies for he not only owns us but paid a huge price for us!!

We can PRETEND all we want that those scriptures don't apply to us.  Doing so however, doesn't change the fact they do,  and that we are accountable for what we know.

Make a fresh decision today to honor God in every area of your life. Let us make the bold decision to glorify Him through each and every one of our daily choices knowing that if God said it we can do it. He gives us Grace. He gives us Strength. He gives us Direction.

Philippians 4:13 We CAN do ALL things through Christ who STRENGTHENS us.

So no more PRETENDING ~ Will you TRUST God with me?
