Today is a milestone in the life of a friend of mine. She is running 5K race today. Something that she didn't think she would ever do and yet over the past few months she has purposed in her heart and mind to do what was necessary to prepare for this. What a wonderful feeling to set a goal for yourself that takes you out of your comfort zone and then to accomplish that.

The sense of fulfillment is amazing. The feeling of "I can do anything I set my mind to" is amazing. The fact that she has the support of friends and family is so important and she has that. There are many of us that have followed her progress up to this point. There are far more that are inspired by her determination and her dedication.

It makes me wonder. How many of us are living our lives to be an inspiration to others? To live by example. To live with purpose. To walk out the plan that God has for us in front of the world without excuse, hesitation, or remorse. To live a life unashamed of the Gospel and Sacrifice of Christ.

If we only wear our faith on Sundays, then the world will doubt our sincerity. If we wear our faith every single day, regardless of who is watching, then the world will see the reality of our commitment.

The beauty of it is, we don't have to use words when we live it. We live by example and that will speak volumes to people. Imagine living in such a way that people are compelled to ask you about the difference that they notice in your life compared to theirs. That frees you to then let God speak through you so that His truth enters their hearts, minds and soul.

As you go through this next week, remember, the eyes of the world are watching, the ears of the world are listening, and the mouths of the world are talking. Purpose in your heart to give them something inspirational to talk about. If you aren't sure how, ask the Lord to show you what areas in your life need adjusting. Living with intent and purpose, THAT'S the Grace and Strength Lifestyle.

David said it best in Psalm 19:14:

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer."

David knew that if he lived a life where his words and his heart were acceptable to God, then his life would be reflective of that in the eyes and minds of others.
