Finding Balance in Healthy Living

"Teach us to number our days" Psalm 90:12

As a wife, momma, and coach for The Grace and Strength Lifestyle, it can be pretty easy for me to allow my schedule to control me instead of me controlling my schedule. The enemy loves nothing more than to keep us distracted from what's most important by keeping us busy.

No doubt, most of what we're involved with are "good" things, however, failing to see ourselves as a priority especially in the area of healthy living will keep us in the negative cycles we have found ourselves in over the years.

Psalm 90:12 says,
"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." NIV

By learning to number our days, we begin to understand the value of each day and balance our lives and schedules accordingly.

But how do we learn to find balance in our lives and schedules?

I believe it is starts here; Balanced Living is based from your values. So, ask yourself, what do I value most in my life? Am I focusing my time and energies around these things?

Schedule what is important to you. You know the saying, "what doesn't get scheduled doesn't happen." So, go ahead and schedule your date night, your alone time, your time to prep and plan your meals, your exercise time, your "go for coffee with a friend" time!!!

This will create margin for you and a beautiful way to find balance in Healthy Living!!!!!
